Versatile Blogger Award

Have you ever experienced that world-stopping moment when you meet someone and just know, within the center of you, that you have met a friend?  I used to think the feeling of affinity was some sort of chemical process relying on proximity.

I don’t any longer.

I met Tess Hardwick on Twitter, followed her to her blog, Inspiration for Ordinary Life, and I knew, without ever having met her in person, I’d found someone breathtaking. Reading her novel, RIVERSONG, only supported that feeling.  Tess is unafraid to lend her characters the same traits she possesses; charm, intelligence, kindness, inquisitiveness, and an unflagging core of creativity.

When I was younger, I took the meeting of extraordinary people for granted because I did not have the experience to know that you meet thousands of individuals before you meet that treasure. I’m older now, I know to treasure my gifts.  I have tremendous admiration for Tess Hardwick and her nomination for Versatile Blogger Award delights me beyond expression.
