Elemental Romance

I am fortunate to be able to volunteer at the local elementary school and have discovered over the years that what I take away from the experience is far more enriching than what I contribute—the old adage is true:  everything you need to know in life you can learn from the playground.

Last week, I stood bleary-eyed sipping my coffee while trying to maintain order in the kindergarten line up, which as any teacher can tell you is the equivalent of trying to contain a crate of multi-colored rubber balls dropped from a height in front of you.
